One of the best arcade ports to Super Nintendo VERY FUN
Created: 24/12/06
Sunset Riders is a surprisingly fun game that used to be popular in arcades in the early 1990s. It plays similar to other games made by Konami, such as Contra, but is encompassed by a Western-theme of "Be the hero, save the girl, stop the bad guy" all with guns. This is not a particularly violent game (no blood) and is great for 1 or 2 player co-op. You have a choice between two characters who use different weaponry (pistols & shotguns) and you have a total of 4 bosses, 8 stages (with bonus stages). This was one of my favorite games when I was a kid, and its not surprising that its as hard to come by as it is. Pick this one up if you never had a chance to play it. I recently played this on Super Nintendo and felt it played much better than the Sega Genesis version. This is a 5/5 game!

Sunset Riders on the SNES is a must have. Great arcade style side scroller that's at it's best on two player mode. So bring a friend, sit back and enjoy the ride. Because this game will take you back to a time when Super Nintendo ruled the world.

You in heep big trouble if you don't own this game.
This is definitely one of the most fun, most under-rated games in Konami's line up. It reeks of personality from your four old western heroes to the varied, and challenging bosses who issue the corniest and most hilarious incoming and outgoing battle cries. The game plays like a slightly toned down Metal Slug but the action is just as intense, and is a blast with two players.
This is a must have for any serious Nintendo collector

O the glory days of gaming!!! Classic side scrolling action, Not as fun as Turtles in Time but still an excellent game worth playing. Two player action is fun with all 4 cowboys. I would rate it an 8 outta 10 only because I wish the stages were a little longer. Def. a lot easier than Contra the Alien Wars. If you have never played it its a little short but the replay value is great and well worth the $20-$30 range!
