Recorded between 1981 & 1984.Digitally remastered by Rick Rowe (Media Force, New York, New York).Recording information: 1981-1984.Photographer: Neal Preston.Probably the best Men at Work disc that the casual listener will ever need, while the die-hard fan already owns all this material anyway. As part of the Sony Super Hits budget series, these ten tracks are the original hits from this early-'80s Australian band. "Who Can It Be Now," "Down Under," "Overkill," and "It's a Mistake" are all included. ~ Al Campbell

Men At Work CD - Super Hits

Created: 06/02/07
I bought this mostly out of nostalgia, that and hearing "Overkill" sung 'a capella' by the Men At Work lead singer during a guest appearance on a 'Scrubs' episode. Reminded me of better times, as I still think the 80's was THE decade for radical change and new music, shame the next 16 years have been so dull and boring and processed, music and talent-wise (apart from those few still going strong from the 80's, like U2 who just get better).

Anyway, what can be said? If you liked "Men At Work" back then, you will find yourself driving home with a bunch of your mates at 3 in the morning after a night on the tiles singing your heads off with big smiles on your faces, as I did. In my group I had a fellow Brit, one American and a Brazilian all singing along at the top of their lungs, and even though they were worse the wear for booze, we ALL remembered the lyrics. 'Nuff said...buy it, it's worth it for those moments alone.

Cheers,

S.

The liberals want your guns. You have the right to bear arms. You do not have the right to drive!! 1% of crimes are with so called assault weapons. Only 1 crime with a legal machine gun since 1934.

Armed people are citizens, unarmed are subjects.
