Product Information
Following up on the success of the side-scrolling action game Super Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back closely follows the events in the second movie in the original Star Wars trilogy. Using multiple playable characters and Mode 7 vehicle sequences, players work themselves through a set of challenging levels right up until the final confrontation with Darth Vader. Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Chewbacca returned as playable characters with Luke given the ability to switch between his lightsaber and blaster as his main weapon. In response to the high difficulty in Super Star Wars, Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back also included a password system so users could effectively save games and continue their progress later without needing any onboard cartridge memory.

    This game is amazing. It really takes me back to when I was younger. Even still some of the levels take me entirely too long to complete. Gameplay is fun and, at times, quite challenging. Overall it does the story justice and is worth playing over and over.

    One of the best Star Wars games ever made. It is not for the feint of heart though. This game is seriously hard unless you play through on easy. Multiple characters to play with and all the cool force powers. If you havn't played this game you really should.

    Not a bad game. deffinatly better than the 1st super star wars. i enjoyed being able to save the game with the password system
