Superman II (DVD, 2001)

I read the first review and I can see where he is coming from *only* if you think with what we are accustomed to now. We all know it and CGI keeps surprising everybody.

That being said, Chistopher Reeve is the man! He played and looked the part without conviction, so that is the first thing going for the flick. Also, think about the fact that they were casting and shooting this movie at the same time they did SUPERMAN (which is why they both seep together like BUTTUH). Also, even if you don't like Chris or Warren or Gene think about all they accomplished w/o the stuff we have today.

Every movie has it's flaws so the first review isn't wrong...but really, this is a classic and--truth be told--that first review could apply to SUPERMAN 3 and 4...despite how much I like Richard Pryor...lol

Just by the title alone this is a must have in your DVD collection. This is my favorite movie out of the Superman movies played by Christopher Reeves. This movie had some gerat quotes to go along with the story . I like the character who played General Zod and his mannerisms during the course of the film. For anybody who grew up watching this movie or has never seen this film this is great movie to have and own,

Christopher D'Olier Reeve did a great job in Superman II. Superman II exposes rarely & hardly seen/use super powers and abilities that Superman have. My favorite tv show is Smallville which have the villain Major/General Dru-Zod a.k.a. Zod in it. Superman II and the Superman comics also have the villain Major/General Dru-Zod a.k.a. Zod in it. Superman II is the Best of the 4 Superman movies starring Christopher D'Olier Reeve or at least in my opinion Superman II is the Best of the 4 Superman movies. Superman II is a Must See. I Love you Superman!

Iv alwayz love the movie it brings a special time back. I had it on vhs and decided 2 purchase the dvd so that I can go straight to any scene desired.Christopher Reeve was a knockout hunk, and I love 2 turn back the time and just remember when I watched it as a child in the 80s and now I can cherish those moments again with my lil girl watching it over again.

I have Superman The Movie on VHS. I wanted the movie on DVD to enjoy a greater experience in sound and picture. The DVD version delivers this experience.
