A guide to Olympic Taekwondo Sparring

The book has many good tips, moves, exercises, and skills to improve on to excel in Taekwondo sparring. Though it does show what the author believes is important, it could've used more detail and more in depth information about actual sparring strategies.
It gives good drills to practice for sparring on lots of different counters and attacks but this book focuses on the aspects of olympic sparring like rules and the kicks that the competition favors, etc...
For the purpose of this book, it is excellent.
If you want to get good at Taekwondo for the purposes of Olympic style competition sparring this is your book.

Tae Kwon Do Kyorugi

This book is written by three of the most well known and respected experts in modern TKD. Great book, especially for beginner and intermediate. But it does contain important information for the elite athlete also. You can read it cover-to-cover or just the sections you are interested in!
I'm a beginner and there is sooo much information from the different stances, kicks, training, conditioning, sparring types and strategy. It's a must have book to anyone's collection of TKD books.

The book is very well written; very informative; and offers good step by step detailed instrusction.
