Movie synopsis
Baloo from Disney's THE JUNGLE BOOK leaves the trees for the adventure of being a cargo pilot in this animated series. With the help of his navigator, young Kit Cloudkicker, Baloo gets in and out of all sorts of trouble while under the watchful eye of his smart boss, Rebecca Cunningham. When things go wrong with Baloo's beloved plane, the Sea Duck, Wildcat is there to fix it. The last member of the crew at Rebecca's company, Higher for Hire, is her young daughter, the spunky Molly. In the second volume, the air pirates are back, and Baloo takes on other enemies such as Colonel Spigot.

) I grew up watching talespin and when it came time to think of shows for my children talespin came to mind because it doesnt contain profanity of any kind. There is enough action to keep a child entertained and all the shows hinge around moral ideas. I want my children to watch a show where they are reinforced the ideas that I try to teach them and this show is one that does that. I also recommend ducktales, alvin and the chipmunks, the old johnny quest (my kid likes it), and later on in life batman the animated series and superman. Kids need things that will fuel their imagination and reinforce values and I feel comfortable with these shows whereas the new shows they have today are strange to me and repeat only a couple good ideas.

These are great examples of animation before computers when scenes and characters were hand drawn and painted by artists. You will not go wrong with the hours of enjoyment you will get from this collection.
A Great Set of Talespin Episodes!

) I thought this was a great cartoon as a kid, and I still like it just as much for all the same reasons today! It gets pretty nonsensical if you get bogged down in logistics, but if you just let yourself enjoy the craziness, you find the creativity, terrific plots, and wonderful characters all come together to make a bunch of neat little stories. The DVD sets the episodes come in have as high a quality as you could expect. I bought the first volume shortly after it came out; now I’ve got the second with the same expediency. If there’s a third, I’ll be picking that up pretty fast too.

) i grew up watching these silly animals and the seaduck and to buy and watch them as an adult totally takes me back to saturday mornings eating cheerios in front of the floor model tv, not a care in the world. so glad i bought this!
