Tigers in the desert
Created: 02/10/10
This DVD is mostly about the desert fighting in North Africa, and very little about the Tiger I. The information on the Tiger, takes up only about 10 to 15 min's of this program, and rehashes already published data, sad to think, that the title is so misleading. Hardly any pictures or video of the Tiger I in action are actually on this DVD.
It should have been titled, Panzers in the desert, as that was the vehicle most portrayed here. The video of the combat was good, and showed what the fighting was like and about in detail through tout the North Africa campaign. Many shots of Rommel, the Desert Fox, and the Nazi war machine in action, make this an informative DVD, and worth the small price I paid to add this to my DVD collection of documentaries of the 2nd World War.
I hope this helps in some small way to persuade you to purchase this video.
