This book is great for any fans of Bruce Lee who are curious as to the workings of his personal philosophy. This book doesn't act as a step-by-step guide to practicing the art of Jeet Kune Do, but it does offer insight into what it takes to become a master in any walk of life. From cover to cover, this book offers Mr. Lee's soul. The passion with which he approached his life and his martial arts comes flying at the reader off of every page.

The Tao of Jeet Kune Do is something that anyone interested in the philosophy behind martial arts or philosophy in general should really consider reading.

This book is something to be read again and again. It is brimming with knowledge and affirmative messages that can lead the reader to understand and develop a positive attitude towards dedicating one's life to learning.

I bought the Tao of Jeet Kune Do three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the simple but powerful writing. Bruce Lee really put his knowledge of martial arts in a way that you can understand beneath just kicks and punches.

A Book That Will Potentially Change My Life

Created: 27/06/09
This book is beginning to let me know Bruce Lee in an even deeper level of depth. The great martial arts philosopher has not completed the book according to his wife, but it will get you somewhere if you want to be a disciplined martial artist. Remember that JKD isn't a fighting technique, it's a way of life. It is filled with many types of exercise you can do everyday while doing other things (i.e. going to work and parking your car from the destination to walk for a while). It also reminds me of how the legendary martial artist is not only martial artist, and I wish everyone would look at him not only the greatest martial artist of all time, but a great father, a great philosopher, and a great person. There could never be another legend like the great one and his son....

Tao of Jeet Kune Do by Bruce Lee

The Tao gives you a deep perspective on not just simple blocks for certain attacks but a comprehensive philosophy of defense, offense and basic living. We are all blessed that he was hurt long enough to get his mind on paper before his untimely death. If you are serious about real martial arts this is a must read.
