) This is a great book for kids who love cars and trucks and things that go. They enjoy the old-fashioned pictures. The text features fun rhythmic, rhyming, and onomotopoeic devices that encourage children to participate in telling the story. The book is a tad bit on the long side for modern sensibilities.
