New Taylormade LCGs are Incredible!!!

Created: 01/08/08
These are the best kept secret in golfing irons!! They are only sold through Dick's Sporting Goods in the US and are really difficult to find. I was so excited when I saw a set on Ebay! I did a Buy Now...didn't bother to try to low-ball bid them 'cause I knew what I was getting!
Over the last 10 years, I've owned Ben Hogan Apex Plus, Tommy Armour 845U, Callaway Big Bertha 2002 and 2004 models and now these new style Taylormade LCG irons and they are amazing! I did put in a set of Graman x-190 M flex shafts as they are my preference but even before the modification, these are sooo easy to hit! They get the ball up fast! The wide sole makes chunking difficult to do and I hit them further than any of my previous sets of irons and they are just so incredibly forgiving!!! They have an X design in the back of the cavity sort of like the Callway Hyper X design that makes sure that shots hit off the heel or toe still fly better than they normally would with any other iron I've played. If you can find a set of these...BUY THEM!! You won't be sorry.

Next Generation TaylorMade LCG Irons

These are great forgiving irons. Wide sole similar to the newer Callaway Big Bertha irons. Good for any mid to high handicap golfer.
