Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles [1990 Soundtrack] (CD, Apr-1990, SBK Records)

if you were hoping for the original title theme to the movie, unfortunately you won't find it here. However, you will find a dance remix of the same song. Unless you're a fan of 80's dance mixes and random voice clips, you'll probably skip it. i -for one- like techno and dance mixes, but this one's just annoying. i was also disappointed there were no BGM (background music) tracks on the CD. Some of my favorite scenes from the movie were my favorites because of the accompanying music.

To me, the CD isn't much of a "soundtrack". it's more of a compilation of songs USED in the TMNT movie like MC Hammer, Spunkadelic and everybody else who plugged their music in the movie. That's about it.

This CD only contains one BGM track called "Shredder's Suite". The track is a 4:25 compilation of the movie's action sequences; Shredder's intro, the movie's prologue and the final battle theme. The only other track that COULD potentially be a BGM track is the theme heard durring Splinter's flashback stories...except the rat doesn't shut up. He narrorates throughout the entire track and ruined the music for me. While it was a neat idea, i was hoping for just the music.

I bought it to listen to some Radical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Jamz and I did not like the second to last song on the CD.

To my there pleases everything that to of the teenage mutant ninja turtles for which I am one fans of movies, series tv, music and video games.

It is what it is - It's kind of like the clash of the titans. You have the teenage mutant ninja turtles in one corner, and are they mad! Then, you have shredder in the other corner and he's mad. So, that's about it.

I love this CD. It's the first TMNT Movie Soundtrack. My favorite song is Splinter's Tale I & II. I remember this CD from my youth and was one of my favorites that I used to have on Cassette Tape.
