Telematrix TMX 1105 Single Line Corded Phone

For me, this phone has all the features I want, plus a few I don't need.

My mom had this phone about 20 years ago, ok, she still has it, it works great, this is just a better & updated version. I have poor eye sight, so I really like the lights on the various buttons so you can see they are on, such as, one touch speed dial, mute, hold, and speaker.

I am not happy with the speaker phone, I had hoped it would work better than it does, still, like many speaker phones, if the voice is soft, they don't come through. However I have a seperate speaker/intercom, that I am able to plug into this phone, so I use that since that one works far better. I am so glad this phone has this extra plug in so I can do this.

I don't run an office with this phone, it is just for home/personal use. However I do have meetings I get via, phone confrence, thus the need for the speaker.

I don't have a head set yet, so I can't tell you how well that works, but, with what I have seen so far, I'm sure it will be great!

I love the tilt adjustment for the LCD time & caller ID display.
I also like the larger letter/numbers on the LCD display. With my poor eye sight, so it helps ALOT.

Again with my poor eye sight, the larger buttons are very helpful.
I'm sure there is higher tech, but for the price, it has what I need.

oh, the cord they send with the phone is great, and what I really loved is something I haven't seen before. insead of having a power cord and a phone cord, this has one cord. I can't figure how to discribe it, but there is a plug tha goes into the power outlet, and you also plug your land line cord into that plug. Sorry, I can't explain it any better. I just really apprecate, I don't have 2 cords running 2 different directions.

There was plenty of cord that came with the phone, so I was happy about that.
