The Ten Commandments - 50th Anniversary Collection (DVD, 2006, 3-Disc Set, Checkpoint)

I have never seen the "Epic" 1923 silent film before. It was verry well restored. Viewing it was a pleasure. No crackles or black spots A++ Now for the 1956 Classic, What can i say other then Charlton Heston was the best actor to ever grace Hollywood

One of the best movies ever made! I thought it was the original, but Cecil B. DeMille had made an earlier version in the '20s. It's included for historical reference. Makes interesting viewing, comparing the changes in movie technology over 30 years (including color!) Heston's Moses is immortal, and Yul Bryner makes a worthy opponent. Overall great casting throughout, and unlike so many film adaptations, it treats the original story with respect and honor. Highly recommended for all audiences!

This movie is my all time favorite- Charleton Heston and Yul Bryner outdid themselves. A great family movie for all to see. Even the effects for that time period was amazing. This is a movie that I watch at Easter when it's on tv but I can watch it more now that I own it.

This movie is a classic. Many people will express their positive opinions about this movie as I once did. However, the biblical accuracy of this movie is most definately an issue. The creative leeway in this film is paintfully evident for the saved and born again believers which read their bibles.

It came very promptly. It was a gift for someone who wanted the movie. I have not gave it to him as of yet. I can not say too much more then that. Sorry
