Terror of Mechagodzilla (DVD, 2002)

I know some people will dislike this movie or claim that the original movie is the best, but I can easily say this one is my favorite. While generally I don't like the movies where Godzilla is "good" as much as I like the ones where he is "bad," this film still delivers. The aliens are back (surprise!) and they've brought a newly reconstructed MechaGodzilla with them, but they're up to even more evil tricks. This time, they're using a scientist and his daughter to gain more power. The scientist has control over a sea monster known as Titanasaurus - this is the only movie you'll see this monster. So what proceeds is hell in Japan as both Titanasaurus and MechaGodzilla go hog wild, destroying everything in their path. Godzilla shows up to take on both, alone, for once. The fight scenes are spectacular, the action is non-stop, the special effects are awesome and the only problem you can really come up with is the fact that the Godzilla costume used in the closing scenes when Godzilla is leaving through the sea is NOT the same one used through out the entire movie and it's definitely noticeable. Is this enough to make the movie anything but a 5 rating? - NO. Anyone who wants to see some mayhem and great Godzilla action should give this movie a try. As always, Godzilla fans should be adding this one to their collection.

It was great - I just love all godzilla movies there is so much action and thats the great part about!

This is the last movie director Mr. Honda did, back in 1974. I love this move it shows Godzilla as a good guy, and he the world for all of us. My 4 kids love this one becouse it reminds them of the cartoon version made back in 1978. My 3 t=year old loves godzilla and this one is his favorate one.

This is one of my favorites what I love about Godzilla is that he takes on all fights and he is no punk he stalks and makes whoever attack him pay for it.
Godzilla is the ultimate ass kicking machine and Ive been a godzilla fan all my life.

Godzilla always back it up and in this movie again he beats another group of attackers trying to take hiom out but as always Mr Whup Ass wins again
