Tetris Plus: More like Tetris Enhanced.
Created: 12/04/10
"Tetris Plus," one of many ideas inspired by the original title game itself, is truly an fairly interesting game; whether you are bored and wish to test your brain on a typical Saturday night while everyone else is clubin', drinkin' or smokin', or if you wish to have an excuse to make a financial wager with your friend(s) knowing that you may be at full risk of losing your allowance money, this 1996/1997 adaption of "Tetris" is just the game for you. Unlike the original title game itself, 'Plus' features three additional game modes normally not in the original, and here they are:
1) This version's central theme is to guide a fairly animated professor towards the goal at the bottom of each level; all you have to do is clear blocks from the screen, or as I like to call it... play Tetris. This is the "Puzzle" mode.
2) You get a pretty cool "VS." mode, in which two players - by making combos of doubles, triples and tetrises - must kill the opposing professor as a result of forcing him to the ceiling, or by clearing the blocks on your side allowing the professor to reach the goal at the bottom.
3) The latter, yet weakest, mode of them all is an "edit" mode, where you get to create custom levels in which you may try to beat, or have your friend(s) try to beat.
Sure there may be a slight imperfection or two in this classic PS-1 game - particularly the "main menu" music, aside from the rest of it, and the professor saying what sounds like "oooouch" instead of what should be "ouch" when he falls a long distance - but this game is nevertheless a great treat for family and friends... and you of course.
Overall, "Tetris Plus" deserves an A- from me; a reasonable grade for a more than reasonable game.

Tetris Plus classic (No School Like Old School)
Created: 07/04/07
This is actually my second copy of Tetris. I am glad to get an exact replacement for the one I wore out.
There's a saying "There's No School Like Old School". Well, Tetris is a classic example of Old School gaming excellence. It has all the bells and whistles a game-head could want.
Tetris is one of the greatest video games ever invented. For people who like puzzle games, bright colors, great music and sound effects, the original classic Tetris wins hands down. Gameplay is mesmerizing, and addictive at the same time. You will find that hours can slip away while you groove to the soundtrack and eliminate lines. Another important part of the game is the "feedback guy" who gives you commentary on the game. Along with adding up points, the better plays you make the more congrats you get from the feedback guy.
This particular version of Tetris has different modes of play including an Edit Mode where you can design a game to your own taste. Tetris is never boring because of the different modes. You can have more than one mode of game going, and switch back and forth between them as you like.
All in all, for the Old School Gamehead Tetris is a game to love and play down through the years.

Tetris Plus for play station

I love this game!!! This is the second time I have had to replace mine, but I keep on replacing it cause I love it that much. It has the option to play original Tetris or to play newer versions with new challenges and twists. I like the versus mode to challenge my husband(this is the only game I kick his butt at!!) and the little professor guy is funny to watch while you play. My husband loan my first one to a friend and never got it back and they had quit selling it at stores by then so we got one off ebay. My sons accidentally broke that replacement copy and the day they broke it my husband was on ebay getting me another one because he hardly ever sees me play any game but when I do it is this one, Rampage Total Destruction, or Namco Museum 50th Anniversary. Yeah I like the old arcade games best!!

I love playing this game for the quest mode
Created: 08/02/09
Unlike other Tetris Games where you just drop blocks into place. This game has 4 different game modes. The classic, versus, edit,& quest.
Where you go to ancient places & go through stages finding treasures.
What makes the quest different they already have block in the board.
You have to get the guy that looks like Mario to the bottom to complete each stage.
Now unlike the normal mode of you have to match exact colors. You just have to remove the blocks. The color doesn't matter as long as you clear the board which is cool. I keep 1 to play I recommend this game to any puzzle or Tetris fan.

Tired of Shoot and Kill Games?

This game takes you back to the old computer games that were fun and challenging at the same time. No annoying hard rock or hip hop music running in the background, no themes that are questionable and no blood and guts all over your screen!
I find this game to be totally addictive. In the Tetris puzzle mode, you are required not only to react fast, but think!
The game works excellently on my PS3 system (80 gig version), but MAY not work on the newer PS2 systems (thin).
I recommend if you find this game on eBay or elsewhere, give it a try...FUN!!
