Texas Hold'em Poker for Game Boy Advance

Created: 29/09/08
Texas Hold'em is a pretty fair game. It is reasonably entertaining but it could be better. The password feature is annoying, you cannot save you game you have to write down a password the at is 15 or 20 characters long. If you are looking for a basic game that allows you to play Texas Hold'em this one will work. If you can find a better game for more money then invest the extra money and buy the better game if not this game will work in a pinch.

Lame game

Created: 04/12/08
This is one of the poorest HoldEm games I have ever played. It's kind of like playing at Yahoo. Where all your opponents have unlimited bucks, and will stay in when they have nothing, and sometimes fold with a full house.

No consistency...you can't bluff....the game won't bluff. This probably would make you develop some pretty poor playing habits.

Best thing I can say is it passed the time on my long Thanksgiving car trip. Don't pay more than a couple of bucks for this dud.

Texas Hold 'Em Poker (Game Boy Advance)

Created: 18/11/06
We purchased the game because it was inexpensive compared to buying just an electronic hand-held Texas Hold'em game. We already owned the Game Boy. We like it's tournament features. However, we don't like that it requires you to write down a very long code to access the next level of the tournament, each time you advance. It would seem a bit easier if it just allowed you to enter your name and save where you're at versus the code process. It seems to be fairly accurate on how the winning hand(s) goes, though sometimes we have questioned its decisions.

Texas Hold 'Em Poker Game

Being a beginner at playing poker, I enjoy being able to learn the game playing against a computer. It's helped me to develop a strategy that has proven to work well when playing in an actual game. I don't like that you can't save your game to continue later. All in all, it's a good addition to my gameboy collection. Now, if I could just figure out which slot the money comes out of... :)
