The Best Graphing Calculator. Period.

This is the gold-standard of the graphing calculator market...The TI-83+ is good, the TI-84 is better, but the TI-84 plus silver edition is by far the best. If you can get one of these for under $70 its definitely worth it. An essential for many high school and college level math and science courses.

If you are upgrading from a TI-83 Silver calculator, then the transition will be unbelievably easy. In fact, the two calculators are almost identical (with the exception of the 84’s additional features and improved hardware) so you will be able to begin using it almost instantly. The TI-84 Silver was actually designed as an upgrade to its predecessor, the TI-83 Silver, in 2004.

If you want to send a rocket to the moon, you can do the calculations on this calculator! My son likes the graphics feature and the large screen. A good alternative to HP's scientific calculators.

) My son has used Taxas instruments 84 for 8 years. It still has been good. Now my daughter needs one. 84 plus even better and silver edition colour is nicer diffirent from others.
Texas 84 Plus Silver Graphic Calculator

My daughter is in seventh grade advanced math and uses a TI 84 at school. After discussing what her needs would be for the years to come I was told that the TI84 Plus Silver would take her through collage. Very expensive but if it gets her through collage it's worth it. She is very much at ease with its functions and operation.
