CAS is NEWER than CAS+
Make sure you are buying the Texas Instruments TI-Nspire CAS Graphic Calculator, not the CAS+. You want the CAS, and NOT the OLD CAS+. CAS+ is NOT supported. Only the CAS is supported.
The CAS+ version is the OLD prototype that TI sent out early as a promotion to dealers a few months before the auctual PRODUCTION TI-Nspire CAS Graphic Calculators were released.
The CAS+ version OS is not upgradeable to the CAS version.
If you buy the CAS+ you are stuck with the OLD prototype... be careful not to order the CAS+ .

This calculator is great. It's easy to understand. It's like a mini mathematical computer. I love it. It comes with very descriptive instruction for those who like to read the instructions first. I thought it came with a rechargeable battery, but you have to order it from the Texas Instruments website. Overall, this is a great calculator.

Great Calculator for all my high school and most college classes! Does everything from simple addition and subtraction, to calculus. Not the best choice for those going into the engineering field, but it will still work great. It is easy to register the product on Ti online, and they will send you a Ti83 Plus keypad FOR FREE that makes the calculator even easier to use!

This calculator will do just about anything but you'll have to look over the manual a little. The one mildly annoying thing about it is that there is a keyboard of letters between the normal buttons for typing but their location causes them to be hit often and normal computations wont go through if you accidentally hit an a-z button. I don't know how this compares to other higher level TI calculators but if your batteries are low it will have trouble cutting on and you may have to hold "ON" for a few seconds. Overall the functionality is great and once you learn the menus and commands it works very well.

In my opinion, it is a shame that such a powerful calculator is coupled to a difficult to read screen.has not TI seen the Nintendo DS display?. I have also another power TI calculator, the TI Titanium, but I have renounced to use it for the same reason.
