"True" Finger Eleven Fans will know what i'm saying
Created: 08/03/07
After the sucess of "one thing" many finger eleven fans (myself included) were worried that this would change the band, making them want to become more mainstream. Unfortunatly this is the case with Them Vs You Vs Us.
I have never been so saddened by an album until now. Finger Eleven had a great raw, dark sound that was like no other. With this album they've become a "pop" band, which means that they turned their back on their true fans, and that they have turned their back on everything they once were.
Finger Eleven was never about catchy/dancing songs, but Them Vs You Vs Us changes this drastically. Gone are the days of Quicksand, suffocate, and absent elements. Now enters "Paralyzer" and "So-So Suicide" which are more like songs that would be played at dance clubs. Sure these songs will probably lead to more popularity with younger crowds (like 12 to 16 yr old girls) but what about your real fans? the fans that made you Finger Eleven? apparently we just aren't important to them...and that's what gets to me.
I write this as a former finger eleven fan. This album is the standard of "selling out" and its a real shame. This band was something special, something different, and now their like the rest. There is NO WAY any TRUE finger eleven fan can listen to this album and not be upset.
Sorry Rock Music, but you've lost another good one

I love this entire Cd. Grom start to finish it is excellent. This Canadian band will give Nickelback a run for their money. A definite must have in any cd collection. I bought this Cd for the song "Paralyzer", and discovered that the entire Cd ius a winner. I would recommend this Cd to anyone who likes Rock Music!

I purchased this cd because of one song. I expected to enjoy more but was somewhat disappointed. I love the group Finger Eleven and have enjoyed their music in the past.

Not what F11 fans would expect
Created: 09/07/07
I heard "Paralyzer" on the radio a while back, and I decided a new Finger 11 CD would be awesome. I was a bit disappointed that it was the best track on the entire album, and that the entire cd was more mainstream than previous Finger 11 albums. I wouldn't go as far as saying that they sold out, but it isn't the sound you'd expect when you think of F11. It just seems like every other post-grunge alternative rock album out there. I only listened to the whole cd a couple of times since I got it, and I've already filed it away in my tower, not likely to be found again for another decade.

Its an ok CD. Not the greatest one but ok. " Paralyzer" is really the only one song I liked on this CD. Never was a big fan but I figured I'd give em a try. Not really recommended. If you like Paralyzer just buy it off I Tunes.
