I bought this DVD to find out more about one of my all time favorite rock singers/bands. Thin Lizzy was a great band that never got the recognition they deserved in the USA. Philip Lynott was a great front man that like other rock stars died way too early. This is his life story in his own words. If you were or are a Thin Lizzy fan, get this dvd.

Being a big Thin Lizzy fan, I jumped at the chance to buy this dvd, with high hopes. Well, I wasn't let down. This compilation of interviews and rare personal footage made this one to own. Seemingly taken from a UK television show, it contains the first interview with Phil's wife since his death. We also get a tour of Phil's den, by his mother. I have heard all the facts surrounding the death of what was one of the greatest rock stars ever, but to see his mom break down when relating his last words as he lay dying was a real tear-jerking moment. Not all is sad, as great memories are brought back to life as Eric Bell, Brian Robertson, Scott Gorham, Bono and others talk about Philip. Rock and Roll never forgets, and this dvd drives that point home. If you are a fan of Thin Lizzy, this is a must have. Pure and simple.
