Publisher's Note
An updated edition of the best-selling guide features anecdotes about such modern figures as Bill Gates, Dave Thomas, and Sir John Templeton, explaining how their examples can enable modern readers to pursue wealth and overcome personal stumbling blocks.

The bestselling success book of all time is updated and revised with contemporary ideas and examples.

Think and Grow Rich has been called the "Granddaddy of All Motivational Literature." It was the first book to boldly ask, "What makes a winner?" The man who asked and listened for the answer, Napoleon Hill, is now counted in the top ranks of the world's winners himself.

The most famous of all teachers of success spent "a fortune and the better part of a lifetime of effort" to produce the "Law of Success" philosophy that forms the basis of his books and that is so powerfully summarized in this one.

In the original Think and Grow Rich, published in 1937, Hill draws on stories of Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and other millionaires of his generation to illustrate his principles. In the updated version, Arthur R. Pell, Ph.D., a nationally known author, lecturer, and consultant in human resources management and an expert in applying Hill's thought, deftly interweaves anecdotes of how contemporary millionaires and billionaires, such as Bill Gates, Mary Kay Ash, Dave Thomas, and Sir John Templeton, achieved their wealth. Outmoded or arcane terminology and examples are faithfully refreshed to preclude any stumbling blocks to a new generation of readers.

A book that should change your life.

Created: 02/04/11
"Think and Grow Rich" is not, in reality, a book at all, it is in fact, a way to change your life for the better. If one reads this book and tries to apply the principles described in it one may find many roadblocks. In doing so, but if one keeps reading this book over and over as well as studying the principles throughout the rest of their life they will most likely overcome all obstacles then finally succeed in whichever field or career or missions they have in life. The hard part will be to read this book, decide who you are now, who you want to be as well as finding a path to overcoming the obstacles you face. An example of what I speak of is this. Mr. Hill speaks of forming masterminds which are groups that can help you as you provide a talent or service that helps them. This idea is wonderful. However, if you are isolated or home-bound you have no way to form these masterminds as you may not even have any friends at such time. This book, however, can still help the home-bound person in as much as you can apply other principles in it that may lead to you creating a new product. It may lift your spirits enough to get you to find ways to no longer be home-bound or you may decide to start a home or online business which will most likely lead to success for you. This could take days, months or even years to help you with your life. However, One believes that this book will in fact help you as well as myself.

This book could be one of the most important books you ever buy in your life and yes, you should buy it. If you have ever wanted to be successful then this could be the road map you seek.

Another great classic by Napoleon Hill, a must read!

Created: 27/08/07
Want to learn how to make money from one of the riches people in history? Learn from Napoleon Hill, the student of railroad tycoon Andrew Carnegie, who started with nothing and grew an empire much larger than Bill Gates!

This book was originally published almost 50 years ago but Mr. Hill writes about the most powerful principles in business and money. Principles that are true now and will be 100 years from now. What you learn in this book will build the strongest foundation you possibly can while growing your business. Also what is covered in this book can be applied to your everyday life too!

This book is 100% recommended!

Old Book, New Spin

Created: 13/03/08
Granted it is an old book written by an author who is long gone. But the lessons and observations compiled from interviews of 500 successful men of his time are still relevant today. The writing style is a tad tedious to read in this era of fast food, fast read generation. But if you could even scan through the book, I am sure that you will find nuggets of wisdom from these great entrepreneurs and the lessons they were willing to share. Although Napolean Hill intended it to be something of a manual that readers can follow and use, each chapter can stand on its own, if only one takes the trouble to digest what he has to teach.
The most poignant and moving lesson to me was the lesson he shared with his son - who was born without ears. In spite of this, they managed to overcome the odds and even turned it to an advantage rather than a disability!
Another thought-provoking (and a little funny) piece was the analysis of why most men succeed in their later years - that these men in their younger years were distracted by a potent driving force - sex!
Overall, a good book worth reading. But more importantly, the reader needs to see how Hill's observations can be applied to his/her own life and thence, benefit from it.
