    Would buy a TimeShift 2.
Story not all that involving, but other than that it's an ok game, great weapons, the ability to control time and it's fairly long, I couldn't put down the controller at times, every time I thought it was over I was thrown into another level. There's some replay value to it to with the 3 different settings and different ways to explore your time powers to see if a particular task could be achieved another way. Graphics wise it can use some work the environment was too 'plastic' when out in the forest, city and interiors was ok. There're puzzles you have to solve using your time powers. When there's time for a Timeshift 2 the graphics and story should be the most improved.

Good Game, though connection issues when playing online

The game play is nice. The manual and explanation of many things is lacking. Though you can figure most of it out yourself. Still there are a few things I would have lliked to know. Like many of the numbers and symbols that are used when an online game ends. Also, I noticed there are weapons and mine types that are only available in different online multiplayer head to head modes, and not found in the game. It would have been nice in the game.

Also, I think having a multiplayer co-operative mode to play the actual game with a friend would have made the game much better. Sometimes I want to play with a friend.

The time portion of the game is a GREAT twist. In the game you use it by activating it not throwing it like you do in the online head to head modes. Sometimes it would have been nice in the game to be able to throw it a distance. A few of the things that needed killing were just to hard even with the mode set to easy.

I like being able to hold 3 weapons, but the pistol was pretty useless, so they should have just removed it from the game, and start us out with a weapon. Don't make me walk around through cinematics hoping to find one. the limit on holding 3 grenades was terrible. Let me hold a few more.

I liked finding boxes of ammo that I could fill up my ammo with.

There is more, but I think you have the general idea.

This is a good game. I think the story was well crafted and the idea very original. The graphics are really nice and the AI for the enemy characters is unpredictable. Which is a good thing. They never do the same thing twice. The time distortion device in the game is quite fun to play around with.
The thing I don't like about the game is the ammount of buttons you have to become very familiar with. And at points in the game I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing as the game objectives were kinda vague. Another not very big problem, but a little disconcerting thing was the way your character moves around. It's clunky like a robot. Reminded me alot about the way the character from DOOM moved around. But overall I beleive this could be one of my favorite games if I play it a little bit more.

Worth the $8, not any more

    Created: 21/07/09
I played this game expecting some nice time control action. I got quake with a linear map set and some basic time control.

    Storyline:
This game has a sporadic storyline. Every level you play shows you a short (no more than 20 seconds) clip half of which are just a scantily clad female physicist dropping hints as to the storyline. I have less than zero objection to an attractive female in a game but having her give vague hints as to the games storyline does not work. After you watch a half dozen they become pointless repetitions of 'Krone knows something he's not saying' or 'you're hiding something from Krone.' Don't expect any kind of good story here. Any game that displays the basics of the story in a loading screen tip probably isn't going to have a good storyline.

    Gameplay:
If you've played a few other FPSs (FEAR, Quake Arena, and especially Time Splitters if you can imagine it with no jokes), you've essentially played this game.
    Standard arsenal:
    machine gun (standard)
    shotgun (standard)
    sniper rifle (standard)
smg (with flame thrower secondary fire)
    rocket launcher (standard)
    crossbow (semi-standard, exploding bolts)
    lightning gun (standard)
Nothing in this game will surprise you after the first few levels. Something tells me this game was made almost exclusively for its multiplayer mode. But even there it doesn't have a split screen mode for playing with a friend in the same room. That is a failure. If you've played Time Splitters multiplayer mode this game has many of the same scenarios.

    Graphics:
Quite acceptable graphics for a PS3 game. Mostly good enough but with the same downfalls every game seems to run into.

    Overall:
I paid eight dollars for this game. I can't decide whether I feel gypped or not. It is vaguely fun but it is short and has as much storyline as Quake Arena. I require more from my games. Knowing what I know now I probably would have spent my money on something else.
