Tinker Bell (DVD, 2008)

Even if it's just a direct-to-dvd movie, Tinker Bell is an awesome find both artistically and plot-wise. Visually, the 3-D graphics highlight the diversity of Pixie Hollow's inhabitants and of the world itself with stunning waves of color. Not only that, but the translation of the magical nature of a fairy story into 3-D allows for special effects to show its stuff, making the pixie dust really glow! While it's a little plain, the story of Tinker Bell's origin is a refreshing take on the world of fairies, especially when so many modern writers perceive a darker edge on the subject (i.e. Holly Black's series). A success in its own right, the homage to the original story, involving a younger Wendy character, is sure to make any fan of the character or Peter Pan euphoric.

Fans of Peter Pan and Tinker Bell will love this great movie..Tinker Bells origins are revealed viewers, will get to watch the birth of the tiny fairy we all have come to know and love..The storyline is great and teaches Children to be patient everyone finds their true path eventually..I love the twist at the end involving yet another Peter Pan character..Walt Disney would be proud..I cannot wait for the next Tinker Bell movie..I give this fantastic film 5 out of 5 bars..only coz I can't give it more!

well if you liked peter pan you'll like this cartoon. which is how tinker bell came to be. her grand adventure is not only cute but, really funny. this is a cute film for the young and not so young. it teaches everyone about friendship and the importance of never giving up.

This is a coool prequeal for all you Peter Pan fans. It tells the story of Tinker Bell's "birth" and her quest for her true calling. The animation is beautiful and the characters are amusing...
