Titlest 731PM Irons

Created: 14/09/06
I played a set of these clubs for a full summer now, so I feel I'm able to fairly evaluate these clubs. When you hit them on the sweet spot, they are great, any mis-hit though, and they are NOT forgiving! In a little over 2 months I have broken two clubs. The first was a 3 iron and it was the first time the club ever struck a ball. It was a clean hit, the shaft just snapped off just above the hosel. The second was about 6 weeks later, the 5 iron broke in exactly the same place. It had hit a fair amount of balls and I hit it just a little "fat" but certainy not enoght to break it. For this reason am afraid I don't have a lot of faith in these clubs. Titleist did replace the first one, The second is not back yet, but I expect replacement. I can see one club failing, things happen, but the second has me worried. Given what I know now I might not buy these clubs again. And it is a pain waiting for the repair/replacement.

I LOVE MY 731PM

I BOUGHT A SET OF 731PM THE SUMMER OF 2006 I HAVE PLAYED THEM TWICE A WEEK SINCE THEN AND LOVE THEM. I FIND THE LONG IRONS EASY TO HIT AND THE 6 THROUGH PW HAVE A GREAT FEEL. I DO NOT THINK THEY ARE FOR HACKERS BECAUSE THEY ARE UNFORGIVING ON MISSED HITS.BUT IF YOU HAVE A NICE SMOOTH SWING THEN THIS CLUB WILL DO YOU RIGHT.

Best clubs for goof left handed players

Created: 14/12/06
The best clubs for left handed golfers. Forged feel, nice transition from PW to 3 iron, and nice to look at. I am a 3 handicap and these clubs do the job! These are much more controllable than my previous Callaway Tours which are thick and clunkly looking, with way too much draw bias, for my taste. These are not made for chops!

Great set of irons. not as soft as a mizuno forged blades. like the feel and look of them though. wouldn't advice these clubs to a beginner. but you highly recommend for the advanced lefty.
