    It is a good start

    Created: 03/07/07
I cannot tell you how long I was waiting for Rainbow Six Vegas to come out. The release just keep getting delayed. Well finally it came out and I have to say I was not as thrilled as I thought I would be. Don't get me wrong that game is pretty good, but it was not what I was expecting.

    Pros:
    1. The graphics are not as great as they could probably be, but they are pretty sharp.
    2. The movement and aiming system used is different, it is like a cross between auto aim like in Socom and manual aiming using the action buttons like in Metal of Honor. It is a nice set up, it takes a little getting used to but I like it.
    3. Gameplay and story line are very good and replay value is high due to unlocking new stages and the online play.

    Now for the cons:
    1. I always like the Rainbow Six series b\c you have the ability to plan out your attack and work with the AI teammates. You will not find that with RB6 Vegas. In gameplay you play as an assault member (Brian) and a sniper (Shawn). It is not really co op you switch between the two roles on different stages.
    2. The weapons menu is extremely small compared to the console version and there is only 1 silenced smg available kinda sucks when your success is based on quick movement and stealth.
    3. The online is good, but it only supports 4 players. What are they ding, I mean Metal of honor supports 32. Also there is not communication (mic) or text. That is a huge downside.
    4. The only time you see Vegas is on the cover of the case.

Over all I would recommend this game, if you love first person shooters as I do, there really are not too many good ones for the PSP and Rainbow 6 Vegas is one of the better ones and worth buying, but it really could have been done so much better.

    Must have for PSP Owners

    Created: 25/07/07
I had this game on PreOrder for almost 2 months, and it was worth the wait. I have never played any of the Rainbow Six games in the past so I cannot compare this to the other titles, but this is a really fun game. This game combines strategy and a shooter together to make a very fun and difficult game.

The graphics are very clear and are everything a 3rd gen game should look like at this point. The sounds in this game is very cool when you hook your PS3 up to a good sound system.

The story modes and multiplayer make this games replay value very high, I will probably hold onto this game for a while because of that. I don't play on-line but you can build you character up the better you play and that looks fun. The map function in this game works well and you can navigate through areas easliy because of this. The game is really fun when you have your team with you because you can order them around and it helps you stay alive in the mission. The enemy AI is really good, and its tough to get through the missions without being killed.

Flaws: some flaws in terms of gameplay. I noticed a few gliches or flaws in the programing. You can only maintain one story mode per user-which sucks if you have someone else who wants to start a story mode-you have to log off and switch users. Vegas in not the setting for a some of the gameplay, so don't expect to rome up and down the strip in the story mode. The on-line has lots of flaws but a patch should fix it in the future.

    Should I buy this game?
In short yes. As of right now the titles on PS3 are still slim, so this is an elite game for this system. Tons of games come out over the summer and into the holiday season but few I think can/will be as fun as this game. The game is worth buying if you have a tight budget on games because you can replay it with friends or on-line if you beat the story mode. If you have money to blow on games you already have this game or you should go get a copy.

Overall this game gets an A
It was everything the early reviews said about the game and more.

Have fun-hope you enjoy the game.

    Awesome game in

    Created: 02/03/11
The game stays true to the Rainbow Six fashion. There are some minor drawbacks, such as the team-arrests being limited, etc. However, the missions are still as difficult as the original titles on PS2. There's lots of story and missions to deal out the damage, take prisoners, and of course... ask questions later.

There's few unlockables... such as some images... and the level completion ratio is based on how well the player is at their shot accuracy, much like many other FPS [First Person Shooter] titles. For a PSP game, it's not the best FPS on the system, but it's a good addition to any FPS collection.

    Great game!

I like that the game is challenging. It takes skill. If I didn't own it I'de buy it. Even my children enjoy this game, I own several of Tom Clancy's games and, this game is by far the most active. With lot's of skill required. I say #1 game I've bought this year.

    Great Graphics, odd controls

    Created: 26/06/07
The graphics are great compared to socom, but there are max 4 players per game online. Single player is great and it is worth the buy. The controls are not though out well at all you turn using the triangle, square, x and o.
