Tomb Raider

Created: 02/08/06
the shortest and, by common consensus, least impressive of Lara's five 32-bit adventures, The tomb raider chronicles took the form of four mini-adventures from Lara's past. With Core nwilling to resolve the issue of Lara's apparent demise at the end of The Last REvelation, these were related as "stories" told by a group of her associates meeting to reminisce at the Croft Mansion
Destinations:
Lara visited Rome, a submarine just off the russian coast, ireland (as a young girl), and a high tech office full of security devices.

After five years of Tomb Raider games, Lara finally acquired the ability to...
drum roll... search cupboards.

The Word 'Chronicles' Explains it all

Created: 16/05/09
Lara's Butler and a couple of friends sit down in front of a fire and speak about the numerous adventures of Lara Croft that game players have never witnessed. This goes back in time to some of the points in Lara's life. its starts off with lara at an opera show, Pierre and Larson show up and get their butts kicked by lara. she escapes from the theater while the two chase her into an alley, thats where her first mission starts.

In one point, it will even take you back to when Lara was very young and she followed someone to an island thats...bascially pretty creepy.

The levels are Rome, a Ship or submarine, a mysterious demonic island, and she'll sneak into a building in a catsuit to claim the iris. This may seem pretty short but its not, becuase in each of these levels, it brances off into more levels.

after completing the game, you'll unlock a teaser cinematic that features the next game of Lara. She looks good, but...if only the next game had reflected that. um you'll also unlock alot of pictures.

worth buying.

Old but has its charm

Created: 17/11/10
Today's tomb raider games in my opinion seem a little easier to beat mainly due to the graphics, but the old original's with the polygon environments make it seem more puzzling in my opinion making it a bit more fun. In tomb raider chronicles though, it seems like the crossover between the new and older games thanks to Lara's new abilities and gameplay features.

overall it a fun game from the past.

TR: Chronicles

Created: 13/04/08
Controls are slightly still irritating. But Lara can actually kill bosses in this one which I love. Enemies drop keys now so you don't have to spend alot of time searching the level 3 times over. Enemies are more abundant which is fun. A crow bar can pry open things. Lara walks tight ropes in TRC. And the graphics got .5 percent better than TRLR. Lighting effects re noticeable. And as always this TR has a good story and nice length to it.

The controls did improve noticeably from the previous Tomb Raiders so I'd say play it. I found it refreshing actually killing the bosses because you never could in previous TR's.

A Trip Through Time

Created: 06/09/07
One of the hardest to find and one of the most thrilling of all the Lara Croft, Tomb Raider games. You will love the graphics and Lara's new moves. The trip back in time to Lara's youthful adventures makes you wish that this series never ends. Kudos to Eidos.
