) The quality of the Toshiba brand is very good bordering on excellent at times. I really like the sturdiness and dependability of many of their laptops. However, when things do eventually break down / needing repair, then it gets a lil bit tough. On the one i got, the hinges needs replacment. I also need to upgrade the memory. Other than that all else it needs is some cleaning. The hinges are somewhat difficult to replace, and the replacement parts are not easy to find, or cheap. But all is possible thru eBay.

) I love these computers. Solid built and solid running, from factory it comes with wifi, 60gb, XP Home and dvd burner. Nice speakers and 3 USB round it out. I have not had any problem with this model other than LCD hinges. When they go bad it is a bear to change them out as the hinge is inside the LCD as well as the base. By inside I mean part of the frame. If they are needing changed out, leave it to a pro.

This is more on the issues I had to deal with just to setup this machine as none of the drivers were installed and the screen was completely black when i got it.

) I like that this computer brought an excellent LCD screen, 1 GB of memory, keyboard, and cooling fan, enought to repare my old toshiba.
