Transformers: War for Cybertron (Sony Playstation 3, 2010)

Over the years the Transformers, has had so many spin-offs, and new gerneration series. Not to mention numerous video games the Japanese series, and the last 2 movies. Well ....This game brings serious justice, and has done something that activision and Michael Bay hasn't done for the 20 years. Listen to the fans, and have hardcore fans for developers to make a stand out title thats really awesome. If your a fan of Tranformers you will love it, great gameplay, crisp sound, and a great campaign mode to keep one busy for hours. I bought this game on EBAY for a steal, so if anyone is reading this, get it you will not regret this purchase at all.

this game is pretty good.it is not based on any of the movies and it is really it"s own game.the levels are nice and often diverse in nature.the game flows fairly well as you play it.the music to the game is decent and the sounds are pretty cool.you can strat the game from chapter one with the decepticons or skip to chapter 4 and be the autobots.you travel around with three allies for levels that actually take some time to get through.transforming is pretty easy when needed.i liked playing this game and thought it was good,since it wasn't tied to any of the movies.i enjoyed this game alot.the shockwave charecter was pretty cool to,if you can get his code on ebay.

A true Transformers game. Going from robot mode to vehicle mode at any time is one of the many great things in this game. You have a variety of autobots and decepticons at your disposal. Each one is different, each one gives you a unique experience.

The multiplayer is addicting and fun. It's easy to get the hang of it, so the learning curve is isn't that high. The online co-op is fun, especially when you're playing it with some friends. Compared to other third-person shooters, this game is up there with the best.

It has replay value as well. You have both autobot and decepticon campaigns, each one giving you three autobots/decepticons to choose from which you can always go back (through level-select)to and select a different bot to pass the game with. There's also escalation mode in which you fight hordes of enemies until you're dead. There's a lot you can do here.

Excellent game and great story. This is really based on the cartoon show. And the Transformers & Decepticons they look outstanding, no like the ugly ones from the movie; which the only one that looks really good is Optimus Prime.
Gameplay is great. I love the freedom they give you to transform in any given time. My only complain is that it could be some type of RPG element in their weapons. And the voices, they sound too human in some characters, and not robot-type voice. I just don't get it how come they didn't use Megatron old voice in this game.
Overall is a great fun game. And If you are a fan of Transformers, you will feel right at home with this game.
Can't wait for the second one to come out

Even if your not a Transformers nut this is still a solid action game with satisfying gameplay and well constructed levels.

Single play is short and with no real unlockbles besides achievements it feels even shorter. Thankfully you can hop online and play through the story missions online with a few friends. But the lack of local split-screen co-op is very disappointing.


Fortunately there's also a robust multiplayer mode. It's been a few years after it's release online so it's not very active but it's still easy to find a match in team death match.

There also a fun survival mode that can be played with 3 people. This mode has 3 players facing off endless waves of bad guys.

Overall it's a solid game. Bottom line though...if you like or love Transformers buy this game. It's full of fan service and it just plays great.
