Movie synopsis

Based on the popular television series, this film is a collection of four frightening tales of the supernatural, each by a different director--Joe Dante, Steven Spielberg, John Landis, and George Miller. The film opens with Dan Aykroyd and Albert Brooks as two hapless road-trippers who tell scary stories to pass the time. The four segments that follow include some updated re-creations of classic Twilight Zone episodes.

This has some classic Twilight Zone episodes on it. I guess I was expecting a remake of some sort so I was disappointed with this one. The quality of the filming is not good (obviously cause it was filmed in the '70s) so buying Blu-ray is pointless. If you are looking just to get a blast from the past, you would probably like this one. I was also disappointed with the episodes they chose for this DVD. If I would have seen it first, I would not have purchased this one. My husband quit watching after the first episode, I kept watching hoping for better but was disappointed. I wish I would've stopped along with my husband cause that's time I'll never get back.

This movie just brought back memories of the time I was growing up in the 80's. I remember first watching this movie on T.V. and now to see the rich authentic quality of the movie on Blu-Ray is uncanny. This movie is just a great treat to any sci-fi fan or just anyone who's looking to see quality of Rod Serlings work.
