Product Information
Travel to the mysterious islands of Vladamasco to fight against the depths of evil. Play as Spike McFang (a junior magician and vampire in training) as he tries to rescue his island home from the dastardly Von Hesler. Using magical powers, Spike will have to journey through nine different environments to help his father, Dracuman, regain power over his nemesis. As Spike, you'll have some unusual weaponry at your disposal: a magical hat and black cape are your ammunition against killer garlic, zombies, and other dangerous beings. There are lots of magic cards and gold pieces to fuel Spike's trip, so make sure to keep an eye out! Battery-backed memory saves up to three games simultaneously.

if you like kirby this game will knock your socks off its two player 3d and its one of the best games I have played that is rarely mentioned instead of inhaling like kirby you basically spin around hit enemys on the screen then you have you magic cards that you have limited use of that can set anything that gets on fire you can make your self invisible even hide in your hat and levitate and this has a story line its not level base I would easily compare it earthbound

A Cute Adventure for the SNES

Created: 26/06/06
The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang (also known as Dorabocchan in Japan) is a fun-filled, warm and light-hearted Action RPG. It's got an easy learning curve and very addicting! Unfortunately, the game only lasts less than five hours on a normal playthrough, and for an RPG that is rather short. What offsets the quantity is the quality though--an amazing cast of characters such as Spike, Rudy, and Camelia as well as a slew of sub characters and villains make this the perfect game to pick when you need something to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

You'll be engrossed in the outstanding soundtrack, which rarely (if ever) repeats the same track in more than one area. The terrific gameplay in which Spike can throw his hat at enemies and also buy improved hats and cards that will all have interesting effects will add to the fun factor as well. The enemies and environments are all vibrantly colored and add to the mystique of the world you're in.

If cute anime-ish graphics are off-putting, then this may not be your game. But other than that and the length of the game, there is really nothing I can think of that this game doesn't do excellent.
