THE REMASTERED SOUND QUALITY IS SUPERB . IT IS TRUELY LIKE BEING THERE .FANTASTIC COLLECTION OF LIVE SONGS,MANY OF WHICH ARE NOT ON THE CD.U2 DISCOVERING MEMPHIS TENNESEE & MUSICALLY ACKNOWLEDING THE SUN STUDIO MEGASTARS THAT BEGAN THERE. U2 WORKING WITH B.B. KING ON LOVETOWN & LIVE WITH BB. THEY ACTUALLY RECORDED 5 SONGS IN 5 HOURS AT SUN STUDIOS(WHEN YOU TOUR SUN THEY PLAY 1 OR 2 OF THEM FOR YOU) ,*THE VERY BEST VERSION OF BAD/RUBY TUESDAY/SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL IS CAPTURED HERE,AS WELL AS AN EXCELENT PERFORMANCE OF "EXIT" WHERE YOU DON'T HAVE TO STRAIN TO HEAR THE LYRICS! ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER ,WHERE BONO WAS ARRESTED FOR SPRAY PAINTING "ROCK & ROLL STOPS THE TRAFFIC",HELTER SKELTER A VISIT TO GRACELAND(LARRY MULLEN ON ELVIS' MOTORCYCLE,AFTER BONO SWEET TALKS A TOUR GUIDE TO ALLOW IT). OK ,AT THE TIME THE CRITIC SNOBBERY DISSED IT(HEY THEIR GOOD,TIME TO KNOCK THEM OFF THAT LITTLE PEDASTEL),HOWEVER I KNOW OF NO ONE CASUAL LISTENER,EVEN PEOPLE NOT INTO U2 OR ESPECIALLY A FAN OF THIS BAND THAT DOESN'T LOVE/LIKE THIS DVD.THE SOUND QUALITY , WILL JUST BLOW YOU AWAY.

Great! U2 before their rise to fame. Great Music!

Created: 06/05/07
The interviews are candid. The music is priceless. The band is U2 before they were the megaband they are today.

The video is good quality, well edited and the sound mixing is done well, especially considering the fact that music is intertwined with voice throughout.

The albums covered on this are, of course, the resulting "Rattle and Hum", "The Joshua Tree", and all of their previous work.

You can see what existed in Bono, the humanitarian, before he was nominated for a Nobel Prize for his work in charity and relief work around the world.

The video shows the 4 guys, Bono (aka Paul Hewson), the Edge (aka Dave Evans), Adam Clayton and Larry Mullin Jr. being four guys from Ireland on a tour of the U.S. The coolest thing about this video is how it shows U2's discovery of American music; specifically the blues and jazz.

Best song on the video is by far "When love comes to town" with THE B.B. King.

The entire video is fantastic and I have watched it literally hundreds of times.

U2 at the apex of their powers.

Created: 08/02/11
A documentary that combines concert footage, historical footage, and personal footage of one of the most important bands of the 21st century. Interspersed is black and white footage which gives it a gritty feel. The interplay with BB King is priceless, as is the Memphis segment. The Memphis segment inspired me to make a pigrimage there to Graceland, the Sun studio, Stax museum, and Royal studio where Hi Records and Al Green made so much timeless music. I guess this is my longl-winded way of saying that this DVD is too inexpensive to not have it in your collection if you're a fan of almost any genre of music.

A Must See!

Created: 06/11/06
U2 maybe pretty much the cheesiest band out there as of today BUT back in the 70's, 80's, and 90's they were the greatest! This is the perfect DVD to prove that very point. The songs are a perfect selection and capture the true energy of this band live and in the studio. Easily one of the best Music DVDs I've ever seen. Check this out!!
