Garth is the guy who brought pop country music to the masses in America and also in the outside world in a way no other singer has made before. The simplicity and the beauty of his songs are compelling to the most. Hard to resist. A reference. Period.

The success of "The Ultimate Hits" is a proof that Garth, even when he's out of scene, never loses momentum. Every one of his previous studio and live albums are multi-million sales records, and even this one, which is just a compilation of his previous songs (with three new ones, in fact) follows the same multi-million sales track. Yes! You got it! Three songs made a lot of people buy again what they probably already had. New fans, like me, had a real grasp on what Garth is all about and I am looking for more.

The "Ultimate Hits" does not carry the word "ultimate" without a reason. It is also "The Ultimate Package" because it is a bundle with 2 CDs and 1 amazing DVD (containing both music videos and live performances of all the songs on the CDs) for the price of one CD. A value for the money that you just don't find anywhere. So that's no questions: Garth hits the Target again. Well Done!

This compilation is for the casual fans of country music, the casual fans of Garth Brooks AND the most serious fans, all alike. It is great to see the best hits of Garth in a 2 CD collection; for some it will be all they want to hear, while for others it is just nice to have all the best hits you want to hear most right at your finger tips...perfect for that long trip, perfect for work, or perfect for just whatever. Add to this CD compilation, the three new songs and it gets even better. To hear "More Than a Memory" brings back the days of when Garth was full of power and at the top of the charts...it's his best work in a long time. Now, add to all this the bonus DVD with ALL the videos and you have an unbeatable package at any price. Just imagine getting all this for the price that Garth set for this and you just cannot ask for any more...BUY IT, YOU WILL ENJOY IT...GUARANTEED!!!

I bought the ultimate hits, because I just love listening to Garth Brooks and his music. This set of two CD's and a DVD is awsome. It has all of the great hits, plus the new ones that just came out. The DVD just tops it off with 33 live recorded or videos from Garth Brooks. The price for this 3 disc set is a good fair price. The only thing I can find wrong, is that it goes by to quickly and I have to listen to it again.

I am even more excited about this set now that I have received it, than I was when I first purchased it. I love Garth and have recently seen him in concert in Nashville, TN where he performed 9 concerts in 6 days and he donated all proceeds to the flood relief fund, and brought in at least $3.5 million in tourism revenue as per the Mayor's report at the final concert which is the one I attended. He is an amazing performer and sounds the same on stage as he does on his recordings. This collection is absolutely what it says, "The Ultimate Hits" and not only do you get the 2 CD's but you also get the DVD with Garth performing 33 of his ultimate hits. I haven't been this excited about anything (since I got tickets to his concert) and I would absolutely recommend this set to all Garth fans as well as those that will become fans if and when they get the opportunity to listen and watch! BUY IT!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

This is one of my favorite Garth Brooks CD's. It has just about every hit he's ever done, and I do love the fact it comes with the DVD with all of his music videos on it. Now I don't have to wait for them to come on CMT! If you're a Garth Brooks fan, this CD collection is the one for you!
