| ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN is Activision's third SPIDER-MAN game and the first to be based off the comics rather than the new movies. The PS2 Limited Edition puts players in control of the web-slinging Spider-Man as he does battle with Venom and other enemies while getting help from some familiar superheroes. The story of Spider-Man begins when 15 year old Peter Parker is bitten by a radioactive spider. He soon realizes he has the ability to climb walls and to sense things. Shortly after being bitten, Peter and friend Eddie Brock discover a mysterious black suit that their fathers created before their deaths. Eddie ends up putting on the suit, which turns him into the powerful villain known as Venom. Peter must battle his childhood friend and other villains like the Green Goblin, Carnage, and Electro to save the city. In story mode, players can walk around New York City as much as they wish as they accomplish side-missions or move the plot along. Instead of walking, though, Spider-Man can shoot webs onto tall buildings and swing his way around the city while capturing gang members and stopping crimes. He also must stop Venom's plot and defeat the other villains. Players will also enjoy seeing Spider-Man joined by allies like Wolverine and the Human Torch for some scenes. Fans of the comics will enjoy how ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN draws on the comic style and storyline, while movie fans will like getting to see another chapter in the Spider-Man legacy. | |

Lots to do and lots to see.
As well, this version has Stan Lee, how it was made, hints and bio's on the characters. This version is x-tra nice!
There is much more control of the web slinger, there is also a story mode,
giving you plenty time to do side missions in NYCity or change attributes of the plots.
This game holds true to the comic version and you get to have some visits from some of Spidey's friends.
Climbing and swinging as well as slinging a web, is EZ and the game is
well put together with lots of play!
Yes, I am a Spiderman Fan! If you are, then this is definitly one to add
to the collection.
It is a one player game, but what a game, and who says you can't have
the controller in your hand?
This is an excellent game for a wide variety of ages, and is well
put together.
My daughter (9years old) finds No difficulty in playing...
niether do I, except getting to the controller and console first!
This is a "Get It" and the prices are reasonable these days as well!

) this one is very different but probably the most fun. its that game that isnt based off the movies but 1 comic series. they do so well to capture all the elements of the comic into this game. you have to see how amazing this game is

) This game I took a chance in buying but I have to admmit it is very smooth and lots of fun . Thouse die hard spiderman fans should enjoy this one and you can also choose Venon one of spidermans main enemy . The world is very huge and you can explore through out the city . I give this one an 8 from a scale from 1-10

This game is the second non-movie related Spider-Man game,I believe.This game really made me love my favorite wall-crawler.I bought the Limited Edition for a couple of reasons:1.I want the extra stuff. 2.I want the autographs. 3.This edition is pretty hard to find,considering STAN LEE's AUTOGRAPH!!!Any inspiring wall-crawler would TOTALY love this game!For a reason unknown,I love this game!!!But all you Spider-Fans out there,the number one place to buy any edition of this game would be right here,on eBay.

) Simply one of the best spiderman games to date, besides Spiderman 2 of course. Great Story, awesome effects, the graphics are really good for the ps2, and thats why this is one of my fav. games for ps2!
