This phone system is versatile and has excellent range. The menu is intuitive and easy to use. The expandable handset is simple to program and connect to the base system. The features include, call waiting caller ID, intercom, 100 number address book, 10 number speed dial, room monitor, speaker phone, headset jack, programable ringers, and voicemail access on each handset.

Uniden DCX750 Cordless Expansion Handset
Created: 10/10/07
I bought the expansion handset to go with my 750 answering machine. It works great. I like being able to check voice mail from any room in the house. The paging function of the system is great too, with a teenager in the house, it is nice to be able to call him in his room with out having to go all the way there.
I have had problems with static on most cordless phones. This system is clear of static and has good charge times.
I wish the phones had a pageing button from the base so you could find the phone when someone leaves it buried in the couch. I wish it had a real ringing tone instead of digital sounds...but no one seems to do that anymore.

Uniden DCX750 Cordless Expansion Handset

When I signed up for VoIP service with www.sunrocket.com (comparable service to Vonage but less expensive) I received 2 Uniden phones. Later I wanted to expand to 4 phones in the house and learned that the DCX750 was the appropriate model which is compatible with the DCT646-2 models that I received from SunRocket. Two additional DCT646-2 phones would not have worked. I think I learned that by going to the Uniden site, then Support for the DCT646-2 and learned which model I needed for "expansion" phones.
I followed the instructions to "register" them to the "base" phone and I was up in business. Actually I like the DCX750 better than the originals because they are slightly larger and a little easier to select and press those little keys.
