Uniden WIN-1200 5.8 GHz Single Line Cordless Phone

Good as a stand alone phone. Battery does not last as long as I would like (two-three day standby) but that is probably due to the color screen. Easy to use. As an "internet" phone using Windows live messenger, it's a bit more complicated, but very doable, you can do IM, read email, etc. I bought it to use with MagicJack because it was cheap and I have other Uniden phones, so I knew the reliability of the products (they basically have same menus, etc) so I kinda knew what I was getting. All-in-all, a good phone, not great, but good, and a price to boot.

After an unsuccessful search for a cordless phone without answer machine at several local stores, I came to eBay with my search. I settled with this phone for the myriad of features for the low price. Being able to use it with Windows Messenger isn't what drew me in. It was all of the other features. Multiple slots for each phonebook entry; unique ringtones for individual callers; colour display screen; 100 name phonebook capabilities. And after receiving the phone, it's certainly lived up to its name. However, this phone is not without its flaws. Editing phone numbers within the phonebook is complicated and frustrating to manage. And the caller ID list only shows who called, not when. Still I am pleased with the over-all performance of the phone and very satisfied with the price I paid for it.

I like it because it's very conveniece for me, I can make long distance calls to my family via msn live on the phone and the fact that I can move around the house freely is a great experience with this phone. I definately recommend it to anybody wanting to save tons of money without having to buy long distance cards.

easy to use, speaker phone, back/hold button and can be connected to computor. has a loctator button on base, in base, incase phone is missed placed.

Its plus is, that it can work as simple phone and as skypephone, not dear price, the color display, a minus that charger goes only on 120W, but to our country it is necessary 220w.Thanks!
