V: THE FINAL BATTLE

Created: 22/02/10
V: THE FINAL BATTLE IS A CONCLUSION OF THE RESISTANCE TRY TO EXPOSE THE VIS-
ITORS AND FREE EARTH OF THE VISITORS MARTIAL LAW. MICHAEL IRONSIDE MADE HIS DEBUT IN THIS THREE PART MOVIE.
THE RESISTANCE WERE TRYING TO EXPOSE THE VISIT0RS TRUE PLANS AND THEIR TRUE FACES, WHICH THEY ARE LIZARDS. ROBIN IS DEALING WITH HER PREGNANCY WITH THE YOUNG VISITOR AND WAS DISGUSTED THAT SHE WAS PREGNATED BY A LIZARD MAN. MIKE DONAVAN'S SON IS STILL HELD CAPTIVE AND HIS MOTHER IS STILL BRAINWASHED BY THE VISITORS LIES. DANIEL BERNSTEIN IS BEING POWERHUNGRY AND A BULLY. HE'S THE VISITORS EYES AND EARS BY SELLING OUT HIS FAMILY AND THE REST OF THE HUMAN RACE.
AT THE NEAR END OF THE STORY, ROBIN GIVES BIRTH, THE RESISTANCE GET HELP FROM
THE FIFTH COLONIST VISITORS ( THE GOOD GUYS), AND THEY DISCOVER A WEAPON TO DEFEAT THE VISITOR.
THIS MOVIE IS NOT FOR JUST FOR NERDS, WHO LIKES SCI-FI. THIS MOVIE IS FOR EVERYONE WHO LIKE HORROR, THERE ARE SOME SCARY PARTS. PEOPLE WHO LIKE HISTORY,
AND THIS STORY PLOT IS LIKE EARTH'S HISTORY, WHEN THE ENGLISH CAME TO AMERICA AND BEING FRIENDS WITH THE NATIVE AMERICANS AND THE HISTORY OF THE NAZIS, THE PEOPLE WHO ARE BEING SECRETIVE DURING THE OCCUPATION OF THEIR COUNTRY AND THE CAPTURE OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE. THE V'S ALIEN INSIGNIA IS LIKE A NAZI SYMBOL. ALSO AMERICA IS FIGHTING FOR THEIR INDEPENDANCE AGAINST THE BRITISH IN THE LATE 1700'S.
I BOUGHT THE V MOVIES BECAUSE I HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIES SINCE THE 1980'S AND V IS POPULAR AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE RECENT REMAKE OF THE SERIES ON ABC. SAME STORY PLOT AND THE V'S AS LIZARDS UNDERNEATH THE HUMAN SKIN. BUT DIFFERENT CHARACTERS, NOT RED UNIFORMS, AND ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY WITH DANGEROUS WEAPONS
WITH COMPUTERS EFFECTS THAN FAKE SPECIAL EFFECTS WITH TRICK PHOTOGRAPHY AND DUMMY HEADS THAT DEVOUR GUINEA PIGS.

Excellent Continuation of "The Resistance"

Created: 13/04/11
Not many Mini-Series of the 1980s have been as watched or as successful as "V" This the follow up to the hugely successful "V" "V, The Final Battle" tells the continuing story of the Resistance, and those who are collaborating with The Visitors.

With great writing, excellent performances from a cast which includes Marc Singer and Robert Englund (before he was "Freddy") this is a delight to watch over and over again.

One of the things I love about older sci-fi movies and TV is the fact that most of it is derived not by the flashy special effects, but by the writing. They make up for the lack of visual effects you would see on a major motion picture by painting a portrait that shows each characters motivations, strengths and weaknesses.

A great addition to any Sci-Fi fan, "V The Final Battle" is a great mini-series to add to your collection.

Friends or foes?

First contact with an alien race. They claim to come in peace and offer technology and medical advancment in exchange for chemicals they can process out of the atmosphere, causing no harm to the Earth or the human race. In reality, their planet is dying and they came to steal our water and our people, for food. Small groups all over the world figure out what the Visitors are really up to and the fight is on. The Visitors have advanced weaponery and transportation, the humans have guts, determination and the Starchild.

Adventure? Check. Rodent-eating reptiles? Check. Mark Singer in tight jeans performing unecessary leaps and barrel-rolls? Check. This boxed set contains the remaining 3 parts of the series "V", which are even better than the first 2 parts sold on another disc.
I rated this as "Excellent" because I remember how excited I and (seemingly) everyone else was (in my neck of the woods) when this mini-series debuted in the '80s, and I was just as excited watching it again. Sure, it's a little dated and goofy, but that adds to the fun.
So curl up on the couch, snack on a few hamsters and enjoy V: The Final Battle. You'll never look at your pet iguana the same...

Aliens come to Earth to offer a trade, our natural resources, for their technology. This only hid their siniter plan. The Visitors were here to take all of our water, and all of humanity for food. A small band of resistance fighters join together to expose them for the creatures that they are. This is the second mini series, will humanity triumph over this intergalactic evil?
