Not the greatest deal

I like the some of the videos we never saw like Don't Tell Me and Can't Stop Lovin' You, they are the reason I bought it, but wish it was concert footage instead. Poundcake and Hot For Teacher are great, too. The rest are just OK.
You get to see 3 with DLR and the sucking keyboards, 10 with Sammy, and one with Cherone. Really, what I want to get and can't seem to find is the concert footage DVD from the Balance Tour when EVH was at his absolute best. The Molson Center in Toronto on 8/19/95 or earlier when the heavy Balance "Trilogy" and long solos were played is what I really want. I wonder why there has never been a Van Halen video hits volume two, and instead they put out "The Early Years".

Van Halen is awesome and it has some classics like Panama, Hot for Teacher shows a little bit of Dave, Sammy, and Gary Cherone, very cool. A must for any fan of one of the Greatest rock bands of all time!

These are the videos that you would have seen on MTV or the like. I had not previously seen some of these songs done to video but you can see the transformations that the band has made from lead singers, hair styles music style, and Eddy evolving his guitar and playing. My 16yr son watched this with me and enjoyed the songs after David left the band. It wasn't the singing but it was his arrogance. I explained how that is an acquirement in Rock and Roll and it worked for the band at that time.

Van Halen - Video Hits, V. 1 (1999, DVD)

This is a great DVD. Nothing like watching Eddie shred a guitar. The Van Halen brothers are a team to remember. The DVD presents an interesting mix of Daivd Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar that I suppose is hard to find anywhere else in the market, certainly will never see that live.
