Foreigner was a hit-making machine in the late-70's/early-80's, cranking out one classic rock radio standard after another, and all are showcased here. The term 'arena rock' was virtually invented by such rockin' cuts as "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Urgent," "Double Vision," "Dirty White Boy," "Feels Like the First Time." And Foreigner was one of the first rock outfits to excel with the power ballad - both "Waiting for a Girl Like You" and "I Want to Know What Love Is" helped open the floodgates for similarly styled songs by others.

No "Head Games" ... This CD Rocks!

Created: 29/09/06
Someone call the "Soul Doctor" this album makes me "Hot Blooded"! By far one of the best "The Very Best" type CD's I have owned. Most of the songs included on this CD were one of Foreigners chart toppers. The CD even includes 3 new songs that were released in 1992. Every fan will think it "Feels Like the First Time" when they relive songs like "Cold As Ice", "Juke Box Hero", "Dirty White Boy" and 14 more. So please "Say You Will" run out and get a copy of this CD today!

Classic Foreigner greatness!

Created: 11/09/09
After going many years without any recorded music from Foreigner(had several cassettes years ago), and hearing them on the radio once in a while, it was time to hear some good music again.
The music tracks on this CD are excellent. One great hit song after another. This CD is highly recommended for all Foreigner fans, as you will enjoy it, and may even sing along to your favorite tunes as I have!
:)
The Very Best...And Beyond by Foreigner will make you feel like a Juke Box Hero, while being Hot Blooded, but not as Cold As Ice.
:)
Hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

This is a very good greatest hits compilation. It contains the full length versions of the original songs (14 of them), plus three songs exclusive to this compilation. These three "new" songs are good ones, too... not just filler. The one song that I question being included here is "Rev on the Red Line", as it is not as good as the others and I don't recall it being much of a hit. I would rather they had included "Heart Turns to Stone" or "Blue Morning, Blue Day", but overall I have no complaints. This is definitely a better buy than the older compilation "Records", and even one of the newer hits discs that had the shorter (radio) versions of the songs. Pick it up!

How can you go wrong with Foreigner?

I love Foreigner music and thought I knew just about all their songs. Well, there are songs on this CD I don't know and I hoped it would be more familiar to me. The up side is that now I get to learn more of their songs. Saw them live about six months ago and they still have it!

The best tape of this old rock group ever. This is the CD to have and hold onto. Thanks for adding to my collection of great old rock and roll songs. Thanks again.
