Very Best of the Ed Sullivan Show, The - The Greatest Entertainers Vol. 2 (DVD, 2004)

If you ever liked watching the Ed Sullivan show you will love this DVD and Vol. 1 as well. It will bring back many good memories. Of days when there were maybe 4 TV channels and the family watched TV together. Ed Sullivan had something interesting for everyone in the family. Much of the acts and talent are from another era (vaudeville) and are not seen much anymore. Variety shows such as this were popular until the early 70's.

It is well edited considering that there was so much talent on his long running show that you could have hundreds of DVD's like this one. When watching it, the time went very fast and I wanted more.

What a great trip of the past--terrific performers of the greatest entertainers. Beatles, Rolling Stones, Sullivan himself, Topo Gigio (remember). Can't wait to get Vol 1.

Wonderful entertainment. Was a good follow-up to the Very Best of the Ed Sullivan Show, Vol.1., which was my incentive for this purchase. Enjoyed the trip down memory lane when entertainment was not profanity,digitalized instruments, and smut. If you made it on Ed Sullivan, you were talented.

So much nostalgia when I watch these old programs, most of which, I watched so many years ago! Brings back so many memories, reminding me of where I was, who I was with and the shared laughter...There is no value I can place on this experience for me!!
