Victorian Lady 1996 Barbie Doll

The Victorian Lady Barbie Doll I bought is wonderful. Since I am a collector of Barbie dolls this was an era that needed update so the current doll is perfect.

This doll is one of the top best in the Great Eras Collection in my opinion. Her dress, shoes, and feathered bonnet, make her look splendid! She makes a great addition to the World Culture theme. For anyone who does or doesn't live in a Victorian house, she would look good in either way. They did a fantastic job of making her clothes the exact copy, of that time period. Make sure to the box and background! Wallah!

This is a beautiful addition to the Great Eras collection. She is resplendent in her burgundy velvety dress with matching pink ribbon and bow. Her Victorian ladylike stance adds to the aura of a gone-by era. I gladly add this to my collection of Great Eras and look forward to adding the last two to complete the 12 doll set (flapper/Gibson girl).

I just love this beautiful Victorian Lady. She is dressed like I would like to have been dressed during her era. Her brunette hair compliments her facial features and blends softly with the colors of her dress.
I like to collect barbies that show how the dresses have changed through the years. She is perfect for showing with other winter barbies.
I like to pose her next to the Promenade Barbie, as they compliment each other (winter/spring).
I would like to have seen what the barmaids would have been wearing during this time period.
I would buy this Elegant Victorian Lady AGAIN.

DOLL IS DRESSED IN PERIOD COSTUME OF THE DAY. FULL LENGTH BURGUNDY VELVET GOWN WITH IVORY LACE ACCENTS AND LONG SLEEVES. HAIR IS COIFFED IN A MATCHING BURGUNDY VELVET BONNET ALSO WITH IVORY LACE ACCENTS AND A RIBBON TIED UNDER HER CHIN. SHE LOOKS AS IF SHE IS READY FOR A CARRIAGE RIDE OR A LEISURELY STROLL IN THE PARK.
