Basic but effective!

Created: 08/06/06
At first when my piano teacher assigned these easy exercises to our class, I thought it was going to be a complete waste of time because the exercises seemed extremely easy. However, after practicing some exercises for a couple days in front of the piano, I discovered that my fingers became stronger and whenever I pressed the keys--the sound was more confident. I seriously recommend this book for all levels of pianists. They are very good for warming up as well. The exercises are easy but very effective!

Excellent excercises.

 | Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I'm a young pianist/composer who had already tried the first 20 Hanon exercises.

While I'm right now still working through the first 20 again, the Hanon studies are excellent, excellent, excellent for the hands, and I'd highly recommend them.

This edition looks nice, but it's the technical value of the exercises that really makes it a worthy purchase.

The Virtuoso Pianist,Sixty Exercises, complete

Created: 05/11/10
This is the absolute classic that all the piano teachers use in our area to compliment other lesson books. We were borrowing one from our teacher and decided to buy our own. We already had the book with only part of the 60 exercieses in it but we wanted the complete book. Great buy.
