A Journey of the Soul and Essence of Native Life

    Created: 29/12/08
This book is the challenging journey of walking accross America thru the different Aboriginal Tribes and Reservations of America. the PUre survival and completion of the walk is a monumentous feat. The participants of the walk draw upon the memories and wisdom of the North American Natives in the suffering and survival, struggles with death beyond comprehension, they have endured. From this book I have gained a greater knowledge of a part of history that has been hidden. As we in this day and age attempt equality , let us not forget the past that has been attempted to bury by those who wrote history. Pray that the earth is not poisoned completely in this machine of what is called progress and technology.
Only a few could possibly complete such a task of this journey. I also felt it gave insite to the group making this journey , of the life of living in a Longhouse, the closeness, self sacrifice and dependency of learning each others strengths and weaknesses which evolve into the strength of the group Awareness understanding the history of Natives Americans. Doug Alderson as the humble modest leader, organizer of this group. Doug has acquired a deep respect from myself as a reader.
