) This is an AMAZING pedal that WILL get very close to that Zeppelin and Hendrix 60's WAH sound. Spend $28 to change the inductor and you have an epic sound that perfectly replicates that era. Doesn't have true bypass, but the bypass is transparent. Does not rob tone. No outlets here, just a 9 volt battery but keep WAH unplugged when not in use and it will last a long time. I have an old classic crybaby and crybaby 535Q. It puts the classic to shame and the 535Q is not in the same ballpark as either. This VOX wah is AMAZING! Also, it's Made in America!

I gave this unit 5 stars because it has THE sound you are looking for when you need to use a wah-wah pedal. It becomes more apparent when you are realy frying in a solo, it just comes through with the goods. Everything has a down side I guess and with the unit I have, somethimes it will Hang-up in the switching and give me a kind of open-shield disruption. this can be very anoying. But like I said, nothing is perfect. But the Vox V847 is as iconic as having a humbucker at the bridge. It's just THE sound.

) Every guitar player that likes pedals and stuff must have this one on his pedalboard. It haves an amazing sound combined with an amazing design.

The VOX V847 Wah Guitar Effect Pedal

The greatest wah pedal ever made, therefore being the only wah pedal you'll ever need! This will be the second vox I've owned only due to the fact someone wanted my first one a little more than I did and stole it. I'll be keeping an eagle's eye on this one! Like I say if your in the market for a wah pedal, pick yourself up a VOX 847. I promise you will not regret it. VOX V847 Wah Review

) Me and my uncle have been collecting different pedals and guitars for some time now. My uncle owns an original clyde mccoy wah and used it on a daily basis. I consider this pedal a lot better sounding for what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a wah that will help me achieve a more "clapton-like" tone, and this wah has it.
