I'm not sure why "4 Lines" is listed in the description. You get one box that contains the base and one handset (VT5146), and another box that contains one handset (VT5106), the unit is expandable to 12 handsets. Bought this to replace older cordless phones and wanted newer technology (5.8 GHz), and other premium features, like bluetooth that is used in conjunction with the base unit, and also bluetooth connectivity to my cell phone, so you can talk on bluetooth headset while using the landline base, and also you can use the handsets to make cell phone calls and answer cell phone calls. Sleek look and nice feel to handsets. Battery charge/life needs improvement.

Nice looking phone for the price but too difficult to work - we still cannot get the extension phone to work. Setting the phone up is also difficult and now the anwering machine is not working - so we will need to set some time aside to figure out how it works again. Instructions are not clear and leave much out. You would think it would be an easy set up but its not. Also the buttons are not user friendly and do not work easily - you need to push each button by pushing down properly and not rushing through the numbers. You also cannot go back and delete a number if you by passed a number to quickly. you have to start all over again. Just a lot of work for a phone. Go with a more user friendly phone...

) I am trying to reach you because one of my phones will not charge....the screen shows it is charging but the charge only lasts about 2 minutes when I answer a call. It is not easy to reach you so this is the only route I thought might work HELP...Advise

) The item was a gift for my sister, it took a while for her to understand how to operate the phone. The manual is to complicated for the average person. I had to explain it to her over the phone. It took awhile but I managed it, I live in a different state. Over all she really likes the phone.
