Disney Christmas are true Classics
Created: 10/01/08
I was looking for a DVD replacement for the Disney version of A Mickey's Christmas Carol, as both the kids and I love it. Viewing it has become a Christmas season tradition for us. The additional two movies were just a bonus.
The movie aforementioned is well made and a classic. The two others are good, but not as great as Mickey's Carol. Pluto's Christmas Tree is fun to watch and is relatively short. It has the characters we all love to watch in Pluto, Chip & Dale and the rest. The Small One is a tough watch for most kids. The characters aren't any of the major Disney ones, so interest may wane with the kids.
The quality of the DVD was comparable to the VHS picture.
I am very happy with the purchase!

Mickey's Christmas Carol

I had been looking for the Walt Disney treatment of the Dickens classic on DVD and finally found it under this title. This version is certainly only at Mickey fans, as well as those of Scrooge McDuck, in perhaps his greatest role since "Sports Goofy", nearly five years earlier.
The additional cartoons are true classics, especially for those who grew up in the late fifties. Pluto and Chip 'n' Dale were part of my earliest memories of Christmas and their toy train fueled my desire for them as an adult.
Great DVD, three thumbs up for this release.

Holiday classic cartoons

If you are a fan of classic Disney cartoons, this is a must-have. Frankly, I had never seen/hear of The Small One before this. It was okay. But Mickey's Christmas Carol was great, as was Pluto's Christmas Tree. The quality of the DVD was fine. Even our oldest grandson, who is more familiar with Transformers than he is with Chip and Dale was fascinated and wanted to see it again. This will be a cherished part of our library for years to come.

Walt Disney's Classic Holiday Stories

I love this dvd, Disney's version of the Christmas Carol is my favorite
Christmas cartoon.
Pluto's Christmas tree is a definite classic, whe he try's to get Chip and Dale
(the two chipmunks) out of their tree, it's nothing but funny.
The small one is a another classic, which is hard to find. But also a very good
movie.
I decided to buy it for the fact I have been looking for these classics since I
started shopping on ebay.

After losing bids on EBay too many times trying to buy the actual Mickeys Christmas Carol DVD, I noticed this DVD had the Carol movie combined with two other Disney movies. So, I bought this one. I am very pleased that I chose to buy this. The movie The Small One is a nice holiday treat about a boy having to make an adult value-learning decision concerning an adorable young donkey. The other movie short is Plutos Christmas Tree. Mickey cuts down and brings into the house a tree for the holiday. Little did he realize that two unexpected visitors came with the tree. And so begins the hilarious tricks and surprises Pluto and Chip and Dale can offer up. Chaos at Disneys best.
Disneys version of miserly Scrooge is the best cartoon adaption ever, mostly because of Mickey. Let the kids see and learn about selfishness in a comical and not so harmful way before they are exposed to the real life movie adaptions that Alister Simm or Reginald Owen do so well but in a more adult reality way. This movie entertains us adults too.
