The Waltons - The Complete Seventh Season (DVD, 2008)

I have seasons 1-7 of the Waltons. Season 7 is missing John Boy, Grandpa and Mary Ellen's husband Curt, but it is still pretty good. My children still enjoy this season and we watch it as a family. Elizabeth, the youngest, is now thirteen and one episode features a poltergeist. Pearl Harbor is bombed in another episode. Most of the others are typical Walton episodes, but, that's why we love them.

We love the waltons we started a tradition with our family when winter rolls around we get the waltons shows out with our 3 children aging, 11, 12 and even our 16 yr. old. They love it and the waltons is a great family show of morals and good wholesome family life which we try to instill in our children. The kids literally ask can we have a waltons night. We have the whole series now and absolutely love it. Will be greatly disappointed when it all comes to an end and I guess we will then start all over with series 1. This is a great series to own and the kids love it as well. If you want to do something fantastic with your children get the Waltons you will be glad you did. Today we forget about what really counts in life and this show of this family gets you back where we all should be it all starts at home to bringing up children in this day and age to get them on a good track as they grow into their adult lives. TRADITIONS are important and I believe as a parent we have done our job. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, because there is a lot of terrible movies on TV like who is sleeping with who and this or that person is cheating on another that is not what life is about. Anyway I recommend this series to any one that has a family it is fun to watch.

Great entertainment from a time when television wasn't dominated by idiot reality and game shows. People looked forward to The Waltons and it's nice to have it available today for the younger generation to watch and for the older generation to have a trip down "Memory Lane." Too bad the Seventh Season was the last!

This is a wonderful show - The Waltons - about growing up and all the normal stuff they had to deal with during the depression times.

I missed the waltons when they were originally on TV.

I was given a volume (Season) of their shows for Christmas, two years ago, and then learned how interesting the show was.

My wife and I are both 'caught' in the narrative and want to follow it to the end!
