A remake or UN-worthy of the Wargames title

I really didn't have high expectations and I must admit that I wasn't disappointed. The storyline is terrible and you keep asking yourself throughout the movie "can it get any worse?" YES, it can! somehow they manage to make it worst by every minute and you end up thinking "I want my 1 hour 35 minutes back!".

Those of you who haven't seen the original 1983 version with Matthew Broderick & Ally Sheedy, go rent/buy it now!! The hardware may look dated, the special effects are not new millennium, but it still beats this rubbish hands down.

For those of us who lived through the 80's when hacking was sexy, the Internet was something mysterious and your disks came as a 8" floppy variety, well we now possess the wisdom to avoid this film like a Thermonuclear War!

I dare you to find a movie which is worst that this...

A True Sequel

Created: 10/10/08
I Happen to like this movie because it touches on so many possabilitys of what could happen if we don't make sure there are enough check and balences in the systems we use. Being a true sequel its important that you have seen the original so you can truely appreaciate what is happining when original charecters are brought into the story. Overall A Good movie and I love having it in my collection. Note: Some hard core computer geeks might not care for this because of the high end lack of geek level material.

Falken & Joshua are back but slow starting

Created: 25/11/08
I loved the origianal WARGAMES, so when this came out i really hoped for another good story. It's low budget and some action scences are choppy, but the last 30 minutes are good when joshua "WOPR" from the original movie is brought back. I wouldn't spend full price on this but, if you liked the 1st and can get this cheap, give it a chance.

If you enjoyed the first War Games, you're gonna love this one. Good ol' Joshua has been replaced by a sneeky and deadly Ripley. An ending that will truly put a smile on your face.
