Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos (PC, 2002)

It is hard these days to find good PC games that are low cost & play well, let alone online play which cost you an arm & a leg for membership, yea right!.

I was looking for this game but I did not want to pay the regular retail price ($39.00+), that is why I looked on eBay. I found the game within 10 minutes and won the game in a couple of days. I paid less the five dollars.

This game is great for persons like myself that do not have alot of time to master the moves or time to play a complete mission. In less than three hours I can complete one part of a campaine which I can return to when I have the time. I play against the computer at various levels of play to meet my level of play that day. The graphics show well in any mode and move clearly accross the screen as if you are looking at a movie. This game is not for your hard core gamer, my sons have played various levels and types of games and for then this is an easy game for them, then again, they both flew thru Halo 1 & 2
at the highest level within a few hours).

This is my spin on this game and I hope others will give it a try.
I currently own most of the WOW PC games. This is why I purchased this game because of its play-ability.

This is the third game in the warcraft series, (The only one that i did not have.). For die hard World of Warcraft fans this game will be a fun way to see where the story lines in WoW came from. For others that just wanted to play a good RTS game then you are in luck as well. Warcraft 3 is an easy to learn and use RTS, just like World of Warcraft is one of the most easy to use RPGs. Choose you're race, gather resources, build troops, and destroy the enemy.(Everything that you could ask for in an RTS game and more.) Several game play options are available to choose from. There is the single play, where the player can either run through the story line crushing foes in their way or custom games where there is a constant skirmish between you and you're allies and the opposing team. Team up and destroy the common enemy! There is a Local area connection option where you and close friends can team up or battle each other, and all the same the same there is a battle net so players all over the world can dish out spells, arrows, and bullets at one another. This game is worth buying, you can play ot over and over and not get bored of it.

I've always liked the Warcraft games, and this game has not disappointed me. It's a pleasant challenge in its different format from the other two prequels. That is what makes it so refreshing.

I specifically looked for this game when I purchased the "War Chest" set in a thrift store, but discovered one of the discs to be missing. My first thought turned to eBay and how one can always find things such as this here on eBay.

The game is awsome, espeially if you get the expansion (The Frozen Throne). Blizzard continued the story of Warcraft, and added two new races. All races have their own unique abilities and units. If you get bored with the single player or vs. comps, get onto Battle.net. Its free easy to use and figure out. Also playing against another person is a challange one the comps get to easy.

Highly recommend to any RTS gamer. A++

Blizzard never disappoints when it comes to gaming and the world of RTS. Continuing on the saga from the original two series, the gameplay is just enhanced with update gaming engine and rendering shaders. Brought this for my MAC and it was an easy transition from the PC version to this. If a person wants a background story to the World of Warcraft, this is the game that explains the past and predicts the future. With the development and widely exception of the MMO (WoW), I hope Blizzard will someday return to its roots of RTS with this franchise.
