Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Soulstorm (PC, 2008)

This game is the best one so far,have not played Dawn of War II yet, but i think game play wise this one has that beat. The fact that now you have flying toys for your army is awesome in most cases. If you enjoyed playing any other Dawn of War title then you will love, or like this game. If you never picked these series of games up, then its time you do. Being able to play the Space Marines, or Tau and just kill everything in your path is a very liberating experience. Play as number of races to just completely kill the other races, in order to control the galaxy that you are in.

What can I say? If you are a fan of the other games in this series then you will love this one. The two races added in this release are sick. This is by far my favorite of the expansions that have come out. Having 9 races to choose from is incredible. And if you have never played any of the DOW games you should.

First of all i have been a fan of the game. But with each expansion it mimics the table top game more and more. Thing is in the table top game you have to figure out all of the math stuff in which you do not for this game. Anyway, just the the previous expansion you get 2 more races this time under your control. But unlike them this time you the balance of the games seems to be prefect. No one has a clear advantage when it comes to strength of the forces. You have a balance where you can't send too many men/women into battle and a big tank like thing is not invulnerable but the super one are pretty much like that but still can be taken out but that takes time. It really depends one your strategies. It not a walk in the park. In the previous games you can go berserk and send men to their death in the single player mission and you could advance but this time every solider counts and one wrong move means the end for you. Online play is about the same. Personally i suck at online play because it always against some major experts (they are the only type of people that play online or have the patience to hone there skills.) Great game and it is a stand alone but a much have add on to the collection.

Just makes a great game even better with this independent add-on. Having the other Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War Series increases the options for playable factions.

Soulstorm is a great game but i have to say if you alreay have the original dawn of war get dark crusade first. Though soulstorm is a sweet game you need the variety Dark crusade has. Soultorm is a solid game, good graphis even though it is fairly old, and I haven't run in to any bugs.
