Warner Bros. Romance Classics Collection (DVD, 2009, 4-Disc Set)

I'm a great fan of romance movies, and always say they don't make 'em like they used to. This collection includes four really great movies starring Troy Donahue. I purchased it because I could watch these again and again and still feel the romance every time. "Susan Slade" is especially good because it also stars Grant Williams (star of "The Incredible Shrinking Man)who was so gorgeous, and one of my all time favorite actors.

It was impossible to find recordings on DVD of these films. When I did locate a couple, they were so costly I could not afford them. These are films from my high school years, Not only did I receive my favorite, which was Rome Adventure, I was able to get three other GREAT features. Movie picture quality was great and same was for sound. This is a true find. I would recommend to anyone. I could not be more pleased with this purchase.

This is a collection I'd always wanted. I've only watched a couple of the movies. I love it!! I'd waited to buy because the price was higher. When it went down I jumped on it. I recommend this collection for anyone who loves romantic stories!!!

This is a great boxed set clearly indicative of the 1960's both in its casting and its storylines.What could be better than seeing the likes of Troy Donahue,Connie Stevens,Robert Conrad and Suzanne Pleshette again,not too mention legends such as Claudette Colbert,Dean Jagger and Karl Malden.If you grew up in the 60's sit back and enjoy this trip down Memory Lane.

This set of 4 DVD's brings back a lot of nice memories plus makes me laugh at the difference in the way we look at young love/relationships these days as compared to these movies from the late 50's, early 60's.
I reccommend buying this set for a fun walk down memory lane.
